Orienteering SA supports an in school program and a negotiated events run specifically for schools. For more information go to the Schools Orienteering Page All events on the main event program are also open to juniors with courses always available for junior age groups.
Urban Series of Events
The Twilight Series events are run in Adelaide's suburban parks and are suitable for those new to orienteering and want to enter as a team or family group. A program of event designed for juniors & newcomers will be also held in May . The full program will be available from the Events page. All events listed offer courses suitable for juniors.
Southern Darts Squad Activities
The Southern Darts Squad includes activities aimed at primary students. For more information go to the Southern Darts Squad Page
Junior Arrows Activities
The Junior Arrows Squad includes a programme of activities aimed mainly at secondary students. Year 7 students are also welcome to take part. This is detailed on the Junior Arrows Page
SA Schools Championships
Each year the the SA Schools Championships and the SA Schools Relay Championships take place. Pre Entry to these events is essential. Both events include age classes for both Primary and Secondary school age students. Entry forms are now available from the Schools Page.
SA Schools Team
SA also participates each year in the Australian Schools Orienteering Championships. . Participation in a number of selection trials is part of the selection process for this. These are listed in the main program of events as SST..See section on SA Schools Team Page for more information
